Here is a brief overview of benefits that are available to you.

Holiday and Vacation Pay

MICI recognizes the following holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day

After one (1) year of service and 1800 straight-time hours worked during that year, an employee will be eligible for one (1) week vacation, forty (40) hours, at their current rate of pay. Employees completing two (2) years of service or more will be eligible for two (2) weeks vacation, eighty (80) hours, with pay if they have worked 1800 straight-time hours the previous year.

Medical/Dental Insurance

We are proud of the health & dental benefits we offer to employees and their families. The Company reviews its benefit programs on an ongoing basis and the programs obviously are subject to change. Because of this we would ask that you call the office and talk to a Benefit Coordinator at 1-800-308-MICI (6424) (Portland/Vancouver) or 1-807-462-6424 (Seattle) to get the most current answers to any specific questions that you might have in regards to the plans. You may also find answers about eligibility requirements in the Employment and Safety Manual that you receive at the time of interview.

401(k) Plan

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is pleased to offer a 401k to those that have become eligible based on the requirements outlined in our Employment and Safety Manual that you receive at the time of interview. If you have specific questions you can always feel free to call our office and speak with our Benefit Coordinator at 1-800-308-MICI (6424) (Portland/Vancouver) or 1-807-462-6424 (Seattle).

If you have any questions regarding insurance coverage or how to fill out forms, please call Sandee Waide at (503) 690-0641 or Mary Duncan, Payroll Administrator in Seattle at (425) 988-6231.
